The announcement has been made and
we are turning a new page in our ministry. On Sunday, September 28, Bro.
James announced plans to renovate and remodel our existing auditorium.
The plans provide for an additional 100 seats as well as bring our design
up to date, with a modern look. It will also increase the functions of
our auditorium, giving us greater options for ministry. Construction will
begin in January 2009, with a tentative completion date in April.
As with any addition to ministry, we are trusting God to provide the funds
necessary for us to do what He has called us to do. However, Biblically,
God uses people to do this. So we are asking that our people pray and
seek God’s face about how and when are to give.
Our first phase of offerings are designed to purchase our new chairs.
Each chair costs approximately $50, and we are asking everyone to purchase
chairs for their family. To meet our goal, we are planning to purchase
500 chairs. We want all of our members to be blessed by participating.
Calvary Hill has been a blessing to this community for years. However,
we must always be looking to the future of our ministry and reaching out
to those who need Christ. We believe this renovation will enable us to
do this more effectively. We have a God given vision and we are trusting
God to do what only He can; therefore only He can get the glory.
