Pastor
 Bro. James O’Dell has been on the staff of Calvary Hill Baptist Church since 1988. For two years he served as the Assistant Pastor and Minister of Education. Since 1990 he has served as the pastor. As a Pastor and teacher, Bro. James is committed to the expository preaching of God’s inerrant and infallible Word. His desire is that every member know who God has clearly revealed Himself to be, as well as knowing whom God has created them to be.
Bro. James is a graduate of The University of Texas with a B.S. in Business Administration. He earned a second undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies as well as a Master’s Degree in Ministry from the Criswell College.
He resides in Garland with his wife Jan, and children Aaron, a student as Liberty University, and Jill who attends Garland Christian Academy.

Associate Pastor
 Bro. David has been on staff at Calvary Hill Baptist Church since 1995. Before coming to Calvary Hill, he pastored in Wichita, Kansas for 22 years. David’s ministry goal is that every Believer would know who he is in Christ and how deeply he is loved and accepted.
Bro. David is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a B.S.E. in Physical Education and History. He earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.
He resides in Sachse with his wife, Nancy. His daughter, Dori and son-in-law, Brandon are members of Calvary Hill as well as his grandsons: Trafton, Crosston and Graceson.
Bro. Rick Sandlin - ricksandlin@calvary-hill.org
Minister of Music/Education
 Bro. Rick has been on staff at Calvary Hill Baptist Church as Minister of Music & Education since 1991. Before coming to Calvary Hill he served 15 years at First Baptist Church in Sachse. Bro. Rick desires that the music at Calvary Hill be thoroughly Biblical and a vehicle to usher worshippers into the presence of the True and Living God.
He attended Dallas Baptist University. He resides in Sachse with
his wife, Pam and son, Cole who attends University of Texas at Dallas.
His son, Neil and daughter-in-law, Jessica serve alongside him at Calvary
Hill. His daughter, Julie and son-in-law, Adam are on staff at FBC
Sunnyvale as Associate Ministers of Music. His son, Caleb and daughter-in-law,
Amanda are members of CHBC as well.

Minister to Students/Young Adults
Neil (he doesn’t like the Bro. Neil thing) has been a full time
staff member at Calvary Hill Baptist Church since 2003. Prior to becoming
a full time staff member, he was an intern for 3 years. It is his desire
to see young people walk with passion and fire as they understand what
the Lord has done and who they are in Christ.
He is a graduate of Howard Payne University with a B.A. in Christian Studies and a minor in Psychology. He earned his Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership from the Criswell College in 2004.
He resides in Sachse with his wife, Jessica, son, Caden, and daughter,
