Small groups meeting in homes can be a true blessing and adventure. These gatherings provide a more intimate setting for individuals to connect with one another and build meaningful relationships. In a world where we often feel disconnected and isolated, small groups offer a sense of community and belonging. They also provide an opportunity for personal growth and spiritual development as members share their experiences and insights with another. Whether it's through Bible study, prayer, sharing the gospel in a neighborhood or simply sharing a meal together, small groups can be a powerful way to deepen our faith and enrich our lives. Our Life Groups are the heart of our church's ministry and  meet across multiple cities in our churches area. They are led by church members who volunteer and are trained to facilitate discussion based upon our current sermon series.

It is in our Life Groups that we set out to accomplish God's command for his covenant people. The Bible lays out seven mandates that a local congregation must regularly participate in in order rightly call themselves a New Testament church.

FELLOWSHIP

Fellowship is the idea of having the same things in common. It is more than just going to the same church, it is in sharing our lives with one another. It is allowing others into our space through pain, inconvenience, awkwardness, and annoyance, and it will be intense because we are different. But those who have been set on fire by God maintain the blaze in our lives through close contact with other believers who are ablaze. (Acts 2:37-47)

accountability

Believers are to keep other believers accountable in the church. This includes, among other things, making sure that we are all walking in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. Accountability is to always be mixed with humility and love in order to edify each other. (Matthew 18:15-20)

DISCIPLESHIP

Every Christian should be used to help other Christians mature more and more in Christ. This aspect of the church cannot be left to the Pastoral staff only, but instead, as believers share their lives with one another they are to encourage each other to love and good works. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Caring

Everyone has needs, whether they be spriitual, physical or emotional and the church has been called by God to help meet those needs. With hospitality believers will make sure that by the work of their hands and the desire of their hearts they are taking care of each other. (Romans 12:10)

 spiritual gifts

Every believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and is empowered with spiritual gifts distributed by the sovereign grace of God. Those gifts are to be discovered and developed within community and used to edify the church. (1 Peter 4:10)

pRAYER

Believers have been called to pray together. And as gathered prayer becomes the furnace of the church it unites our hearts, multiplies our joys, and transforms our lives. (Acts 2:42, Matthew 6:9-13)

mission

The ultimate activity of the church is worship and as a means of worship we desire to obey the Lord in fulfilling "The Great Commission." And since there are those who do not worship we take the Gospel to others whether in our own neighborhoods or around the world, knowing that one day every tribe, nation and language will worship on the new earth. (Matthew 28:19-20)
