When we think about Christmas, we generally turn to passages in the Bible that give us a narrative account of Jesus' birth. We want to hear of angels, Mary and Joseph, the shepherds, and the wise men.
1 John 1:1-4, doesn't immediately strike us as a Christmas text, because it is not describing Jesus birth. However, though John is not recounting these events, he is giving us a wonderfully concise explanation of what the nativity means.(Tim Keller) So join us on Sunday morning at 10:45am in December as we walk through this text to discover "The Life of Christmas"
